I became a founder member of the recently formed 9 Artists Collective and we had our inaugural exhibition on the theme of Protection at the Roper Gallery, Bath Artists Studios in September 2022. It was a great success and stimulated many interesting conversations about the diverse interpretations of protection. I showed three pieces inspired by the plight of pangolins and how cruelly they are treated and trafficked; the pieces showed foetus-like forms vulnerable yet curious and inquisitive to their surroundings. Fingerprint scales show traces of human touch, both negative and positive.
