In November 2022, painter Rachel McDonnell and I are exhibiting on the theme of “The Presence and Absence of Water “. Rachel has completed a series of paintings over the years inspired by trips to Finland, Crete and other places including walks around the Stroud Valleys, each with their watery (or lack of) properties. I will be showing some old favourites and new pieces with turquoise, volcanic and slop-bucket glazes erupting from surfaces and crevices.
